Working Principle of HM-H220D2-8BS1-TG30

The connector is featured with an 8-position plug and a PCB socket mating element to fulfill the connection of backpanes or other contacting surfaces. The socket elements can be easily implemented into the PCB, no solder for that. The connector is locked in the plug by its latch profile, as well as the designed internal structures, which provides superior retention capability.

HM-H220D2-8BS1-TG30 is compliant with IEEE Std 1725.1-2009 and IEC 61076-4-105 standard. It has high signal integrity due to the active low-profile, fool-proof differential contacts. The signal contacts are designed to be closed out of the backshell to reduce crosstalk associated with narrow pitch."

In order to decrease the transmission losses, the center contact of the plug is made of copper alloy and the signal contacts are silver plated for great electrical performance. Moreover, an integrated EMC-shielding base is applied to optimize signal performance for EMC applications.
