HMC-C070 is a wideband RF amplifier with low noise and high linearity from Hittite Microwave Corporation. It is designed to be used in a variety of applications that require small size, wide bandwidth, low cost and high performance. The device offers multiple power levels and is suited for use in VHF, UHF, and L-Band systems including cellular and Wi-Fi.The HMC-C070 is optimized for applications such as RF base station amplifiers, test and measurement equipment, point-to-point radios, customer premise equipment, consumer electronics, and satellite telecom equipment. The device is packaged in a small 3mm x 3mm IC package, making it ideal for miniaturized designs with little or no external board-level components.The HMC-C070 is a differential LNA with integrated bias and variable gain stages. It features an integrated matching network, allowing smooth transitions across the entire operating frequency range. Gain is adjustable over a 33dB range and is voltage controlled. The LNA offers 20dB minimum of gain flatness over the full range of gains and high linearity performance. Additionally, the device supports both FET and Bipolar input match, with applied voltage control.The HMC-C070 has a noise figure of 2.0dB typical, and 1.3dB minimum across the entire operating frequency range. It has high IP3 and high OIP3, low power consumption, and an input noise temperature of -119dBm/Hz. Furthermore, the device operates from a single supply of 3V to 5.5V and is protected against over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature conditions.The HMC-C070 is a versatile device that can handle a wide range of multi-octave bandwidths.
