HMC561LP3 is an RF switch driver IC designed specifically for WLL (Wireless Local Loop) radio solutions. The HMC561LP3 is a single chip solution for the dual amplifier control system needed in a typical WLL radio, providing up to 16dB IP3 linearity and high blocking capabilities.

The HMC561LP3 includes an internal I/O switch to control the on-state resistance (ROS) of the PA. This switch is used to control both ITU-T type A and type B amplifier. It is also equipped with a DC power detect output pin that is used to detect the DC power at the output of the PA. The DC power detect output voltage is adjustable from 0-Vdc to 1Vdc.

The HMC561LP3 also features an integrated VCO for frequency tuning. The VCO is adjustable from 2.4 to 6.5GHz and provides up to 33dBc of tuning linearity. The HMC561LP3 also comes with an integrated power amplifier control system, which includes a high-precision gain control circuit and a low distortion PA control circuit.
