RF Demodulators
The HMC567LC5 is a monolithic, low-noise downconversion circuit for direct RF sampling in broadband communications systems. HMC567LC5 technology extends the bandwidth of direct RF sampling bridges, enabling high-speed analog-to-digital converters to sample signals with frequencies up to 68 GHz. Moreover, the output of the HMC567LC5 is a low-noise voltage signal similar to the output of a heterodyne receiver with a stability of 1 kHz. The HMC567LC5 has a wide range of applications, including modulation and demodulation, bandwidth switching, burst detection, spectral monitoring, and other applications that rely on digital signal processing. Its circuit can be used to equivalently replace an analog mixer circuit, eliminating the need for additional components. Moreover, its fully integrated design requires no external components and the installation takes minimal effort. The working principle of the HMC567LC5 is based on direct RF sampling of high frequency signals. The integrated circuit\'s built-in on-chip downconverter module functions as an RF mixer, which receives two incoming signals and creates a resultant output signal at a lower frequency.
