The Application Field for this type includes factories, shipyards, oil rigs, underground mines, industrial environments or other particular and hostile locations.The HRFC-P8-L1.7(60) connector – housing consists of two different components. The first component is the housing shell, which is made of die-cast material and features a ribbed removable outer cover along with a symmetrical support structure. The cover makes installation and maintenance easier, since it can be easily attached or detached to the housing shell. The second component is the core component that includes the cable plug, contact pins, seal rings and dustproof caps. The contact pins are recessed and protected against short circuits to ensure optimal performance.In order to achieve high speed and reliable connection transmissions, the HRFC-P8-L1.7(60) connector – housing uses an advanced PIN-in-Groove technology. This technology reduces losses and maintains reliable connection results regardless of the working environment or environmental conditions. The PN-in-Groove technology consists of two components, one is the 2mm long contact pin that fits into the housing, and the other is the groove which helps align and lock the pin in its place.To ensure a reliable connection the cable plug is made of zinc-alloy, outperforming other plastic plugs in terms of durability and resistance to corrosion. The contact pins are protected against shock and vibration by the two seal rings, which provide dustproof and corrosion protection. The dustproof electrical caps provide additional protection against dust and moisture.With the advanced PIN-in-Groove technology, the HRFC-P8-L1.7(60) connector – housing provides exceptional performance in optical transmissions, even in aggressive environments.
