These resistors also feature a superior mounting design that ensures maximum connection stability during vibration or shock.
The standard HS10 120RJ package consists of a spun-and-weld nickel-plated metal contacts, while the UL version is constructed with tin plated contacts. Additionally, they feature an extruded 17 mm lead screw with multiple thread turns that reaches into the resistor’s element area, and Clinch nuts are used in the UL version and standard casing. The resistor elements are usually of thick-film or thin-film designs, and they are resistance welded with either sapphire or ceramic to prevent resistance shift. Working Principle
