When a magnet is placed near the module, the amplifier amplifies the magnetic field pattern. The ADC then converts the amplified signal into a digital value, which is passed through the comparator to determine whether the digital value is above or below a certain threshold. If the value is above the threshold, then a digital output signal is generated.The HSS-L2S-012 module is capable of sensing the magnitude of magnetic fields generated by permanent magnet sources from 0 to 10mT (milliTesla).
