Circuit Board Indicators
LED circuit board indicators are used to inform when a device is powered on and operational. The HT3-GRN provides a powerful light in a very small, 1.6mm x 0.8mm footprint. This impressive size allows design engineers to save space on circuit boards while still providing a bright, uniform highly visible light. The HT3-GRN is viewable from all angles, and thanks to its self-contained design, which requires no external components, the HT3-GRN is perfect for busy, space-constrained designs.
Light Bars and Bar Graphs
Light bars and bar graphs are used to display a range of values on a given device\'s screen. The HT3-GRN is a bright, spectral light source and a very efficient way to indicate volume levels or other values. A single light bar can be divided into up to 32 segments, which significantly increases the value and brightness available. Additionally, these segments can be chained together, creating incredibly long shown of light bars and bar graphs. The HT3-GRN\'s linear forward voltage and small footprint allow design engineers to create long lines of LEDs that accurately display ranges of values.
LED Arrays
LED arrays are single LEDs connected to form shapes, or patterns. Design engineers use LED arrays to create customized designs for lighting products, vehicle lighting, signal and display designs. HT3-GRN LED arrays use between 8 and 16 LED connections for even illumination of the array shape. The HT3-GRN\'s optimized color temperature, combined with its high efficiency and low cost per lumen, make it an ideal option for LED array applications.
HT3-GRN Application Field and Working Principle
The HT3-GRN is a powerful LED used in a variety of applications ranging from circuit board indicators, to light bars and light arrays. The HT3-GRN LED operates on a forward voltage of 2.7 V, and can emit up to 482 lumens. This is possible due to the LEDs high efficiency, and its small size of 1.6mm x 0.8mm. The HT3-GRN LED uses a highperformance black package and substrate, MCP package, and nano-molding technology to ensure a bright, reliable light.
When applied to any of the above applications, the HT3-GRN provides design engineers with significant design flexibility. Its unique packaging and small size enable engineers to design smaller devices with more components, while enjoying the benefits of its color optimized color temperature and its uniform and intensely bright spread of light.
