HTST-132-02-G-D

HTST-132-02-G-D is a type of rectangular connector consisting of headers, male pins and a female receptacle. It has many applications in the electronics industry, ranging from consumer electronics to industrial applications. Its primary purpose is to provide a bridge between components, boards, peripherals, and/or telecommunication equipment.

This connector is both durable and reliable with a long-term operating temperature of -55°C to 105°C. It is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and has a current-carrying rating of up to 5A/contact and 40V maximum. The male pins are easy to assemble and feature a positive-locking “Bent-pin” design for secure connection with female ports. It is available in both through-hole and surface mount versions.

HTST-132-02-G-D has two parts – headers and male pins. The headers are made of high-quality zinc-plated alloy steel, and the male pins are brass-plated steel with nylon insulation. Both parts are designed for high-temperature and vibration resistance. The headers are coded to indicated directional polarizations and the pin design ensures for positive mating and secure connection.

The working principle of this connector is simple. When they are plugged together, each of the male pins make contact with the corresponding female receptacle in the header. This creates an electrical connection. As the application of force and pressure increases, the pin is forced further back into the receiving housing and the connection becomes tighter. This ensures improved contact, increased signal strength and noise immunity.
