The HW-V5-ML505-UNI-G-J Evaluation Board is an embedded complex logic board, capable of implementing complex FPGA and CPLD logic solutions. This evaluation board makes it easy to implement and evaluate dual-rates DDR2, DDR3 and PFlops applications.

The HW-V5-ML505-UNI-G-J evaluation board is based on Xilinx’s Virtex-5 FPGAa, making it ideal for communications, video, imaging, and other high-performance applications. The evaluation board features an integrated 8-lane PCIe end point connected to the Virtex-5 FPGA, four independent JTAG ports, four independent user-defined I/O expansion connectors, four independent banks of user-defined memory, and four user-defined memory expansion connectors. The evaluation board also includes eight GbE, four SATA, USB 2.0, and serial debug ports.

The board supports Virtex-5 FPGA devices, including over 60 user-defined I/O expansion connectors and a variety of user-defined memory configurations. This enables users to configure the board for their specific logic requirements. The board also features four programmable system clocks, a supervisory voltage-regulator controller, two independent voltage supplies (4.5 - 5.5V and 2.5 - 3.0V), and integrated high-frequency oscillators.

On-board test probe points allow users to quickly evaluate logic designs and verify that they meet the desired specifications.
