The ICL3222ECV is a member of the high-speed I2C/SMBus protocol transceiver family. It has programmable high and standard speed modes and offers high performance, excellent noise rejection and low power operation. This transceiver is ideal for use in applications such as industrial control, medical systems, robotics, automotive, computer peripherals and networking equipment.The ICL3222ECV is well suited for high speed applications and offers several features including: high current output drivers, receivers, and transceivers; low power dissipation; adjustable current limiting; and flexible output configurations. The ICL3222ECV has a maximum data rate of 2.5 Mbps and is capable of operating up to 8 MHz in high speed mode. The low power operation and excellent noise rejection make it well suited for industrial, medical and automotive applications.The ICL3222ECV is capable of driving multiple loads from a single device and can provide up to +5V and -5V of differential drive for each load. It also has low power shutdown mode and adjustable current limiting for the outputs that can be used to minimize power consumption.
