The device includes integrated frequency control, and an optimized power saving mode. The output drive frequency is determined by the external crystal frequency and an integrated prescaler.The output drive is active high and is a square wave format which is programmable for either single or dual frequency output. The drive is available to the user through a CLK pin and a CLK# pin. The CLK pin provides the normal (fast) output drive signal and the CLK# pin provides a slower output drive signal which can be used to reduce power consumption. The output frequency of the CLK# pin is determined by an internal divide by N logic circuit.The power saving mode on the ICS954135AFLF can be enabled or disabled by an external control.
