Fixed inductors are passive electronic components that feature a coil of conducting material, usually copper wire, around a core material. The IM04STR22K is a specialty fixed inductor made with the highest available magnetic shielding for noise and signal suppression and a two-phase polarity winding bias for superior efficiency and linearity. This inductor is designed for use in high frequency switching power supplies and other high current applications, such as hybrid vehicles, military equipment, consumer electronics, and industrial systems.

The IM04STR22K consists of two parts: the winding and the core. The winding is made of Litz copper wire, which is a type of copper wire with high-grade insulation and very low resistance.
