Fixed inductors are electronic components which are used to induct electrical energy in a predetermined amount. Inductors are generally formed with a wire wound around a core of ferromagnetic material, or by depositing a conductive material onto a ferromagnetic substrate. Fixed inductors are sometimes referred to as chokes, and can be used to control the current flow in AC and DC circuits.
IM04STR33J is a series of fixed inductors produced by TDK. This range of fixed inductors are designed to be highly flexible, allowing engineers to choose from a variety of sizes and shapes to suit their application. They feature a ferromagnetic core set in the center of an iron core, which increases theability to absorb a larger amount of energy than conventional inductors without becoming saturated. They also produce less loss when used as a filter, making them ideal for use in battery operated devices.
The IM04STR33J series of inductors are suitable for use in high-power AC and DC circuits and are rated at a maximum voltage of 100V.
