INND-SS56RCG is a combined power indicator display module based on a 5x6 dot matrix, consisting of 5 7-segment characters, 4-digit numerical display modules, 6 independent digital control lines (DOUT, SOUT, DE, SIN , CS, OE), and with a built-in controller. It is widely used in various digital power control circuits, including digital voltmeters, digital ammeters, digital watt-hour meters, digital wattmeters, digital frequency meters, digital power factor meters, energy management systems and other similar digital devices.

Working Principle:

1.The serial instructions of INND-SS56RCG are transmitted from the data line and latch line of the upper computer system. The data is then sent to the internal shift register of the module through the pin SIN of the module.

2.Set the OE control signal to LOW, and the data of the shift register is output through the pins of the module. At this time, because the PWM level of the module is 0, the controller is working.

3.After the OE control is switched to high, the OE pin is open and the PWM level is zero. At this time, the segment data output by the module is controlled by the counter, and the corresponding data is changed according to the program settings.

4.Ultimately, the number display corresponding to the data instruction is gradually output from the module in the form of pulse width modulation, and the display instruction is changed.

INND-SS56RCG can display four result digits. It supports self-test, optimal brightness setting, grayscale conversion and other features.
