ISL12027IV30AZ-T is a programmable real-time clock (RTC) device powered by an oscillator and three lithium primary cell/auxiliary batteries. This device synchronizes time and controls input/output functions, thereby optimizing system performance. It features a 32-channel output, a 32.768kHz oscillator, a temperature sensitive oscillator, an event counter, low-voltage detect technology and a power failure monitor. This device is suitable for applications such as remote sensory systems, navigation systems, sales kiosks, instrumentation, laboratory facilities, medical equipment, satellite systems and automotive modules.The ISL12027IV30AZ-T is an advanced programmable real-time clock (RTC) device that can 64x31 bits internally and 16x30 bits externally maintain accurate time, date, and temperature. It is also capable of recording time events that can be read upon system initialization or after a power failure. The device offers many functions such as alarm, calendar, event counter, and periodic interrupt signals.The ISL12027IV30AZ-T uses an external 32.768kHz quartz crystal oscillator along with its internal oscillator which is temperature compensated and can maintain 0.2% accuracy over the operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. This device is programmed by I2C serial interface, and features dedicated registers and an oscillator start-up time of less than 1uS.The ISL12027IV30AZ-T provides low-voltage detect technology with integrated Dlp circuitry that automatically detects an event control indication when the supply voltage is below a predetermined limit.
