The ISL95338HRTZ-TK is a PMIC - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators product, developed by Intersil in response to the need for a dependable and reliable power management IC that offers advanced capability and high integration. This DC/DC converter supports wide input voltage range, adjustable output voltage and current limit, as well as three-level output protection. ISL95338HRTZ-TK is mainly used in applications such as data communication and computing.ISL95338HRTZ-TK is composed of two parts: The controller and the power stage, which operate independently and provide the desired system performance with little noise and minimized power losses.The controller utilizes a proprietary system architecture and provides a full feature set. It includes adjustable current limit, an adjustable soft start, an adjustable multiphase dead time, and a high-performance, low-EMI pwm architecture. Unique control signals are provided for both synchronous rectification and AC-DC conversion. Moreover, the wide input voltage range and adjustable output current limit help to extend battery life in certain applications.The power stage of ISL95338HRTZ-TK is capable of delivering up to 30um/min current at 18V input voltage. It utilizes a return-to-zero circuit topology and MOSFETs with built-in soft switch technologies, which help improve efficiency and reduce EMI.
