<p>Rectangular Connectors are widely used in electrical and electronic devices. They are designed to connect multiple circuits together, allowing signals to be exchanged or for systems to be powered. Headers, Receptacles, Female Sockets are three types of connectors from this family which are widely used.</p><p>The IT-PM-2S-DIR application field and working principle is a type of rectangular connector which is specifically designed for use with Printed Circuit Board connectors. It consists of two headers and two female sockets which are configured in a row. This type of header is also known as Right angle connector as it uses two orientations of the pin connections, right angle and straight. The pins are fixed on two separate PCB’s in such a way that when a user wishes to connect two separate circuits, then the two headers of the IT-PM-2S-DIR are simply plugged into the respective female sockets. The pins make simultaneous electrical contact with both the female sockets as they are situated in the same row.</p><p>This type of connector is primarily used to provide connections between different components on the PCB. It is also used to enable the placing of power or signal links between the circuit board and other assemblies without having to resort to wiring. With the use of a single IT-PM-2S-DIR connector, multiple connections can be made easily on the PCB board.
