Power Line Filter Modules are important components used in electric equipment. They are designed to reduce noise and electromagnetic interference. JAC-06-683 is such kind of power line filter module, which is used for suppressing common and differential mode RFI/EMI. Its application field and working principle are introduced below.

Application Field for JAC-06-683

JAC-06-683 can be applied in many fields, like communication, power supply, electronic instrumentation, motors, optical fiber, networking, computer, audio and home applications such as A/C\'s, televisions, etc. Its greatest advantage is that it can suppress both common and differential mode signals. It can also reduce the resonance frequency of the system operating in the range between 30MHz-800MHz. JAC-06-683 is highly recommended to use in applications where both common and differential modes must be suppressed.

Working Principle of JAC-06-683

JAC-06-683 works by using three stage filter structure, two common-mode inductors, one pair of differential mode inductors and one pair of capacitors, as shown in Fig.1. The inductors can stop high frequency signals that may cause unintended coupling too. Resilient materials are used for the casing, so that it can prevent by absorption any interference signals that enter the module.

Fig. 1 shows the structure of JAC-06-683. This filter module collects most of the generated interference from the power train. It uses three stages of filtering to stop noise. The first two stages are dedicated to common-mode noise, while the third one is dedicated to differential mode noise. The inductors have high self-resonant frequency which can attenuate common-mode noise effectively. A capacitor is used to suppress ringing. Resilient materials are used for the casing, so that it can further attenuate any interference signals that enter the module.

In addition, the EMC filter module adopts unique design of voltage-limiting technology, which allows it to enter in to low impedance states in the presence of common-mode voltage peaks. This helps to reduce conduction noise. In a high amplitude noise environment, JAC-06-683 will absorb much more of the interference than other models.
