JKS-400 is an electrical specialty fuse that used for electrical protection. It comes in a range of sizes and current ratings, meeting a wide range of operational needs. The back-up protection stage involves the two coils connecting and creating a short circuit, limiting current flow to the safe level protecting the circuit and wiring system.

Under normal operation, the JKS-400 prevents overloads and short circuits, which can cause serious electrical problems including fires, decreased performance, and system failure. In short circuit and overload situations, the JKS-400 trips and de-energizes the circuit, providing protection from damage and injury. It is important to note that the JKS-400 must be installed and maintained properly to ensure its effectiveness.
