K50-3C1E27.0000M Application Field and Working Principle
K50-3C1E27.0000M (K50 Series) oscillators are clock generating devices with PWM or LVDS outputs, and are designed to meet the requirements for communication and digital signal processing applications. Built with advanced ClockWorks® technology, K50 Series oscillators offer excellent jitter performance, 1st-pass yield, and reliability.
Application Field
K50 Series oscillators are ideally suited for a broad range of communication and digital signal processing applications in communications systems, switches, routers, and servers, as well as medical ultrasound imaging systems, data acquisition systems and many other embedded systems requiring a reliable and cost effective clock source.
Working Principle
K50 Series oscillators are based on CMOS-compatible circuitry that uses the fundamental frequency-producing elements as the main clock components. To produce the oscillating frequency of the oscillator, a series of logic elements are used to generate a periodically changing voltage across the oscillator’s capacitor. As the voltage of the oscillator’s capacitor periodically changes, the frequency of the oscillator changes, producing the K50 Series’reliable clock signal.
The frequency of this oscillator is primarily determined by the values of several components: the C 1 capacitor, the C 2 capacitor, and the R amplifier resistance.
K50 Series oscillators have low power consumption and can operate in a wide temperature range. In addition, the K50 Series oscillators provide excellent jitter performance, at a fraction of the cost of traditional Products.
Conclusion
K50 Series oscillators are a cost effective and reliable solution for clocking the needs of communication, digital signal processing, medical and other embedded systems. Utilizing advanced ClockWorks® technology, K50 Series oscillators provide excellent jitter performance, while operating in a wide temperature range and consuming low power. This makes K50 Series oscillators the ideal choice for clocking needs in the communications, digital signal processing, medical, and other embedded systems.
