  3. The signal then reaches to the gate of the thin-film-transistor (TFT). It will then modulate the capacitive coupling which is present between the ITO and the thin film transistor.
  4. This capacitive modulation is then sent to the source line of the LCD, thus initiating a pixel to light up.
