It has an active area of about 14.6mm×39.4mm for adisplay size around 40.9mm×80.3mm. The LCM-S01602DSR35480 is a passively driven display in a COB (chip-on-board) package. This design enables it to have a lower manufacturing cost. The display has an integrated transistor which saves the memories at temperature in the depression of overvoltage. This approach has allowed the usage of this display module in school education, leisure and hobby sectors, for project prototyping and industrial applications.The LCM-S01602DSR35480 employs different types of driver schemes. This includes the SPI and parallel interface, which is selectable while using the third pin called DC/DC. The working voltage at given temperature is approximately 6V. The device works on different ways of connection and provides good display performance. It entails a flat factor of around 700:1 with a good contrast and brightness; The display’s background colour can be selected between five different colours such as white, yellow, red, green and blue. The LCD driver also provides an integrated LED circuit with LED backlight support for 40ms up to 500ms of exposure time and dimming options.The LCD panel of the display module works based on the principle of an electrophysiological phenomenon known as the electro-optical effect. It works by applying a waveform signal to a suitable liquid crystal material. When a positive waveform signal is applied to the pixel, it increases the leakage level and hence generates an electric field.
