The LM4867MTEX/NOPB is a compact, low-power quad bridge-tied load audio amplifier designed for use in portable VCR, television, audio systems and telephone applications. This device combines four independent bridge-tied load (BTL) amplifiers into a single package, reducing power consumption and board space requirements. The LM4867MTEX/NOPB device has a wide operating temperature range, low voltage supply requirements, and offers an improvement on power efficiency over traditional single-ended systems.

The LM4867MTEX/NOPB device operates from a single supply voltage and requires very little in the way of external components. Each amplifier has a low power supply current requirement of 1.5mA and a typical supply voltage range of 8.0V to 16V. The device is designed to be able to operate with a supply voltage of up to 12V without the need for external components, but if the supply voltage is greater than 12V, there are external components recommended. Additionally, the device contains mute, swell, and stand-by features.

The LM4867MTEX/NOPB device can replace up to four single-ended audio power amplifiers with a single integrated package.
