The LMP8481MMEVM-S is an evaluation module and designed for Texas Instruments (TI) LMP8481 Single-Channel, Low-Noise, Low-Power, Rail-to-Rail Output Operational Amplifier. It is a single-channel amplifier primarily engineered for audio applications. The amplifier features guaranteed operation from -40C to 85C in the small 3x3 mm SOT-23 package. The IC on the EVM is a zero-offset, rail-to-rail output device, designed for use with a wide range of input dc voltage levels, allowing for greater dynamic range than traditional non-rail-to-rail operational amplifier.

The EVM also includes two external power supplies for the BIPOLAR comparators. The LMP8481MMEVM-S operates from a +2.7V to +5.5V single supply voltage range.
The EVM contains a wealth of external components to showcase the LMP8481 performance. Two different input configurations were selected to demonstrate the difference between single-ended and differential amplifiers, including resistors and capacitors for filtering. The EVM is designed to drive 8-Ω or higher load into a speaker.
