Data Acquisition - Analog Front End (AFE) 

Analog front end (AFE), sometimes known as analog-to-digital converter (ADC), is a specialized circuit used to convert analog signals or data into digital or discrete information that can be used by a microcomputer or micro controller. The LMP90080MHE/NOPB AFE is a highly efficient, high-performance, low-power 16-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It is designed with a highly integrated architecture that can be used to convert analog signals with high accuracy and high-speed operation.
