LR1F6R2 Application Field and Working Principle

Through-hole resistors, also known as axial resistors, are one of the most common types of resistors found in electronic circuitry. They consist of a cylindrical body of an insulating material, such as ceramic or epoxy, with two bands of metal wire wound in an axial direction around the body. The bands of metal wires are connected at both ends to two terminals that extend from the body of the resistor.Through-hole resistors can be relatively inexpensive, and depending on the type of resistor material used, they can have relatively high resistance values (up to several megohms). Generally, they are used in electronic systems for signal resistance, noise reduction, voltage division, current limiting, and anti-surge protection.LR1F6R2 is a type of through-hole resistor which is also known as a patch-type resistor.
