LT1376IS8-5#PBF is a switching regulator integrated a low dropout regulator, a high current MOSFET and optically isolated feedback, which can produce an output voltage of up to 4.5V with up to 4A of current in synchronous buck or boost mode. LT1376IS8-5#PBF is used in power monitoring and isolation applications, cooling fans, industrial and medical equipment, adjustable LED current sources, and in other applications requiring a regulated output voltage of up to 4.5V.LT1376IS8-5#PBF is designed to be used with a wide variety of DC to DC converters. It is also designed for use in applications where the supply voltage is higher than the regulated output voltage, as well as for applications in which the regulated output voltage is higher than the supply voltage. The LT1376IS8-5#PBF can be used in 0.8V to 4.5V output applications, with an input voltage of up to 32V.The LT1376IS8-5#PBF features an integrated low-dropout regulator (LDO), which helps reduce the input-output headroom voltage and thus reduces power dissipation. The LDO allows the device to remain in regulation even when the input voltage is lower than the output voltage. The integrated MOSFET also helps to limit input-output differential voltages and reduce power consumption.The LT1376IS8-5#PBF utilizes an optically isolated feedback path to ensure accuracy and provides a fixed gain of 1/3V in order to maintain tight regulation of the output voltage.
