<p>LT6657AHMS8-3#PBF is a voltage reference IC (Integrated Circuit) used in power management and integrated systems. It is part of the PMIC – Voltage Reference family of voltage reference ICs manufactured by Linear Technology, Inc. This device provides a ultra low dropout voltage and high output current capability. It is optimized to provide low-noise, high-precision operation in a compact 8-pin package. </p><p>The LT6657AHMS8-3#PBF is a voltage reference IC with 8-pin SOP (Small Outline Package) configuration. It has an enable/disable function for low power operation. The output of this device is typically programmed to a range of 0.7V to 4.9V. It has a wide variety of applications such as precision DC/DC converters, power supply regulators and system power management.</p><p>The LT6657AHMS8-3#PBF device includes a precision, low-power comparator and bandgaps in addition to a programmable-gain amplifier. These features provide a very high degree of accuracy and low-noise performance when operated at higher frequencies. The power supply reference voltage is determined by a proprietary temperature-compensated bandgap circuit. This integrated solution simplifies reference design and reduces total system power consumption.</p><p>The LT6657AHMS8-3#PBF provides a wide range of operating current capabilities from 0.1mA to 35mA. Its wide output range of 0.7V to 4.9V is adjustable via an external resistor. This voltage reference can operate in either inverting or non-inverting configurations. The wide output voltage range of 0.7V to 4.9V also allows it to be used in a wide variety of single or multiple supply configuration.</p><p>The LT6657AHMS8-3#PBF device includes an enable/disable pin which allows the user to control the power supply. This feature can be used to optimize power consumption in low-power applications. The enable pin is driven low to enable the device and high to disable the device.
