The LTC2000AIY-14#PBF is a high-performance digital to analog converter (DAC) used to transform digital-form signals into analog-form signals. It is designed to provide accuracy and ease of use to various applications, such as industrial automation, data acquisition, networking, and so on.The DAC performs the conversion from digital to analog data through a combination of various technologies. An 8-bit, 12 -bit, and 14-bit data input is used to control an analog digital-to-analog (D/A) converter chip. The output of this chip is connected to the input of an audio-filter stages and a precision gain stage. The gain stage can be set using voltage or resistance and is used to set the full-scale output voltage range.The LTC2000AIY-14#PBF operates from +2.2V to +5.5V and has an adjustable output voltage up to +12.5V or +4.5V, depending on the unit. It is capable of producing ±1.5 mV resolution at full-scale output. It has a fast settling time of 2.0 µs and low harmonic distortion of -76 dB. It also has a power efficiency rating of 0.2 W/channel and a low total integrated jitter (TIJ) of 10psp-p.
