The LTC2631ACTS8-LM12#TRPBF is an 8-bit, single, serial input digital to analog converter (DAC). This DAC is equipped with a selectable internal voltage reference, so it can operate both in the single supply operation or the dual supply operation. When in single supply operation, the reference voltage can be set to 2.5V, or it can be set to a higher or lower voltage. When in dual supply operation, the reference voltage can be set just like when in single supply operation.

The LTC2631ACTS8 has an I2C compatible serial interface, with a serial data input format and address format. The serial data input format consists of a start bit, 8-bit command, 8-bit data, and a stop bit. The serial address format consists of a start bit, 3-bit command code, 3-bit address code, and a stop bit.

The LTC2631ACTS8 is designed to operate from a single 2.5V to 5.5V supply, or a dual ±2.5V to ±5.5V supplies. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is rated for operation under a variety of environmental conditions. The LTC2631ACTS8 also has both internal and user-programmable gain accuracy of ±2LSB or better over supply, data input, reference and temperature range.
