LTC2631CTS8-LM12#TRMPBF Application Field and Working Principle
The LTC2631CTS8-LMPBF is an eight-channel, single-supply, digital-to-analog data converter designed for applications where space, noise, and accuracy are critical. The device has an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of -92dB, making it ideal for audio and medical applications. The LTC2631CTS8-LMPBF is designed to handle 16-bit signals and is suitable for use with most 5V and 3.3V supplies.The LTC2631CTS8-LMPBF has an on-chip voltage reference that can be programmed through the I2C or SPI protocol. This reference can be configured to select a full-scale voltage range of 0V to 2.5V, 0V to 5V, or 0V to 10V. The reference has a temperature coefficient of 10ppm/°C between -40°C to 125°C and 0.1µV/°C input offset drift.The LTC2631CTS8-LMPBF supports three-state output and software reset. Three-state output mode allows the user to set all analog outputs to their inactive or VSS state. This can be used to quickly shut down the device and allow multiple devices to be daisy-chained together. A software reset command is also provided and can be used to reset the device to its power-on state.The LTC2631CTS8-LMPBF converter operates on a 500kHz clock rate and features a slew rate of 0.5V/µs. The device is designed for low EMI and features a power-on reset to ensure clean startup and steady operation.
