:<p>LTC2861IGN#PBF is a Quad Differential LVDS Receiver with Rail-To-Rail Output Latch used in Interface - Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers applications. This part offers a voltage translation capability, low skew and superior switching performance. Low power consumption and an adjustable supply voltage make it ideal for extended temperature range applications.</p><p>The device is suitable for applications such as backplanes, serial ports, and point-to-point I/O control. The low level load on the input lines and the low voltage supply are important features for many distributed control system applications. The supply and output voltage levels can be adjusted to accommodate other system components.</p><p>The LTC2861IGN#PBF uses a single 5V supply and contains four rail-to-rail voltage level shifters that provide a wide range of input voltages for different logic families. The output voltage swing is from the rail voltage to slightly less than the upper rail, allowing the logic family to be chosen depending on the required voltage levels. The device is available in both SMD and through-hole packages.</p><p>Each input line is connected to two CMOS/LVDS receivers and two output drivers (one rail to rail, the other rail to rail inverted) which form two channels. A single control line starts and stops output data flow on each channel. The control line also enables parallel loading of the two outputs on either polarity (inverted or not). The rail-to-rail output latch and the chip enable pins are provided as external pins, allowing the LTC2861IGN#PBF to be used as an LVDS transmitter.</p><p>The LTC2861IGN#PBF has an integrated 20 MuA current regulator that provides a reference voltage for the receiver which helps ensure reliable data transfer without disruption. The low input and output capacitance coupled with the low skew help reduce system noise and power consumption. The device also provides four power down modes to reduce power consumption when the device is not in use.</p><p>The LTC2861IGN#PBF is a low power, low latency, four differential LVDS receiver with rail-to-rail output latch that is suitable for interface applications requiring low power, low latency and wide range of input and output voltages.
