Working Principle
The LTC2863HDD2#PBF uses a differential transmitter and receiver architecture. The differential signal pins (D*+ and D*-) of the device are the input and output pins respectively, while the differential driver power pins (VDD, GND) act as common mode voltage references.
The transmitter circuit uses a differential amplifier to transmit data in the form of a differential signal. The output of the differential amplifier is coupled to the differential pair D*+ and D*- and the amplified differential signal is transmitted over the output line. The receiver circuit uses an equalizer circuit with a selectable gain which amplifies the differential signal and then transmits it to the receiver to obtain the data.
