The LTC3115HFE-2#TRPBF is a high efficiency, monolithic step-down DC/DC converter designed for battery powered applications. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 6V and delivers up to 600mA of output current with 0.8V to 4V adjustable output voltage. The devices highly integrated design utilizes high-performance, Internal N-channel MOSFETs to minimize the solution size and parts count to minimize solution size and cost.

The error amplifier then compares the output voltage to a reference voltage, and if they are not equal, the output voltage is adjusted accordingly.
