The LTC3631EDD#PBF is a synchronous buck regulator from Linear Technology, suitable for DC/DC power-conversion in a variety of applications. The PWM signal is converted to a digital output, then amplified and finally it is delivered to the gate of the output FET. A float-mode regulator is used for adjustable output voltage control, allowing for a wide range of output voltage settings.Additionally, the device is capable of operating in a number of switching frequencies, from 250kHz up to 2MHz, according to the selected current limit option. It also has a programmable soft-start for output voltage ramp-up and over-temperature thermal protection.The combination of an integrated high-side MOSFET, low-noise nanosecond switching and low-dropout regulation makes this LTC3631EDD#PBF an ideal choice for a variety of DC/DC power-conversion applications.
