It is part of the POL regulator family that includes the POL regulator, the LTC4353IDE#PBF control circuit and the ideal diode. It can be used in many applications ranging from robotic, automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace and defense.The LTC4353IDE#PBF offers a wide selection of input voltage ranging from 2.5 - 65V. It also has an adjustable output voltage range from 2.5 - 54V. This product has an adjustable Current Limit ranging from 0.5 – 5A. It achieves high efficiency through the use of its proprietary voltage feedback architecture and the integrated control circuit to adjust both converter output voltage and current.The LTC4353IDE#PBF setup and use are easy. It can be powered directly from the device VIN which allows it to supply the appropriate voltage while remaining in its DC mode. There is no need to turn it ON or OFF as the LTC4353IDE#PBF is always in its ON state. An optional toggle switch ON/OFF enable feature allows the user to enable and disable the device.In addition to voltage and current programming, the LTC4353IDE#PBF offers a safety feature called thermal protection. This feature will shut down the device under certain conditions if it exceeds the internal safe temperature threshold.The LTC4353IDE#PBF is widely used for isolated DC-DC converters, battery chargers, high efficiency LED lighting and other low power applications.The working principle of the LTC4353IDE#PBF is simple and consists of three main components: the buck converter, the ideal diode and the control circuit.
