The LTC6948IUFD-4#PBF is a CMOS high-frequency, high-precision Clock Generator and Synthesizer. It is designed to produce low-jitter, high-stability clock frequencies using selectable crystal oscillator, PLL synthesizer or direct input of clock signals. This versatile device can be used in diverse communications, computer and industrial applications.

The LTC6948IUFD-4#PBF can generate PECL, LVDS and CMOS outputs from low-frequency reference signals from sources such as crystals and system clocks. It also offers adjustable phase, rise and fall delays that can be used to synchronize multiple output signals, eliminating the need for external clocking components. It can be programmed with an on-chip serial interface.

This clock generator and synthesizer is highly programmable, with a low-frequency configuration register that lets users program multiple frequency settings and enable/disable different outputs. The LTC6948IUFD-4#PBF’s output frequency range is adjustable in 0.1Hz increments up to 800MHz.
