The LTL-816EE is a series of LED light indicators composed of a variety of diode types - Circuit Board Indicators, Arrays, Light Bars, Bar Graphs - and are configured in rows and columns. These LED indicators are highly reliable and ruggedized, with long-life LED\'s that re capable of handling in excess of 10 million cycles.

Applications for LTL-816EE LED\'s are generally found in environments where visual feedback from electronic control systems is needed. Such as, industrial process monitoring and control, manufacturing process and system control, equipment/machine status indication, transportation, signal and safety lighting.

The construction of the LTL-816EE LED\'s typically consists of one large LED (or combination of LED\'s) mounted on a single PCB. The LED\'s are typically connected in series with the LED terminals accessible at either side of the LED for mounting. The PCB is usually pre-wired for easy connection to a 12 or 24 volt DC power source and features a series of resistors and diodes that allow the LED\'s to be dimmed.

The working principle of the LTL-816EE LED\'s is based on the same basic principles of electricity used in standard lighting applications. Electrons removed from one end of the LED are then replaced with electrons from the other end, creating a current. This current then produces light, resulting in the illumination of the LED.

When the LTL-816EE LED\'s are connected to a power source, electrons are removed from the anode of the LED and replaced with electrons from the cathode, forming a current.
