Working Principle

The LTP-3784G LED character and numeric display module is designed to operate through the use of LEDs connected in a four-digit grid configuration. The module holds 4 digit numbers, wherein each digit can be displayed with up to 11 different numbers, symbols and alphabets. Each number is composed of 8 individual LEDs connected in a particular manner. The working principle of this module involves the combination of various switching circuits and each output is connected to the individual LEDs of each digit. Whenever an input is received, the switching circuits will control the LEDs in order to display the desired character or number.
