The MAF94152 is a single-stage antenna designed by Multi-Amp RF that works on the frequency range from 1.7 to 2.7 GHz. It has a third-order intercept point of -23 dBm and a maximum gain of 9.5 dB as an Omni-directional antenna with a gain pattern in one plane. It is usually used to connect wireless broadband communication systems, such as Wi-Fi and WiMAX, as well as cellular applications through the Internet.
The MAF94152 antenna consists of two parts: a radome and a filament. The radome consists of two conductive plates, made out of aluminum alloy, connected to a large number of wire loops. These loops are arranged in a tight spiral around the center of the antenna. The slots in the radome are also arranged in a spiral pattern and the antenna has two feed slots, a primary feed slot which is located at the center of the antenna and a secondary feed slot located on one side of the antenna. The filament is made out of copper wire and is connected to the secondary feed slot of the antenna.
