Working Principle
The MAX4357ECD+TD is a dual/single-pole double throw (SPDT/SP3T) switch designed to provide low on-resistance switching performance and low power consumption in low voltage applications. The switch features an integrated enable pin that can be used to turn on/off the switch output. When high, the outputs will be enabled, allowing for low-on resistance switching. When low, the outputs are disabled and the switch is in a low-power stand-by mode.The switch features a low on-resistance Rds(on), high speed tON/tOFF, and high frequency bandwidth of 30 MHz. This switch is ideal for switching analog signals in high-performance applications, such as digital to analog conversion and analog to digital conversion, audio, video and communication systems.The switch also features a low input capacitance, which makes it ideal for switching digital signals. This low input capacitance allows for low-distortion signal transmission. The devices are offered in single, dual and quad configurations. This allows one device to switch multiple signals.
