The MAX4395ESD/V+ is the industry\'s smallest triple low-voltage amplifier operating at a power supply of 12V and beyond. This is an ideal solution for mobile and portable, low-power applications such as automotive audio systems and consumer audio, video and broadcast systems. This device is a low-voltage amplifier consisting of three differential inputs driven by an ultra-low voltage single-ended, class-D amplifier. The MAX4395ESD/V+ differential amplifier uses a differential input stage and a low-voltage/high-current class-D output stage. The differential input stage has two inputs and provides high levels of input signal common-mode rejection. The input stage is driven by a low-voltage, single-ended amplifier operating at 12V power supply and beyond.The device can output currents up to 300mA, with voltage gain setting of up to 14V/V. Using a low-voltage power supply, the device ensures improved battery current efficiency and excellent power-supply rejection. It also features fast turn-off/turn-on capabilities and requires low quiescent current when shut down.The enable pin is used to switch the amplifier on and off. There is direct gain control, which is done by changing the voltage applied to the gain-control pin while keeping the voltage applied to the enable pin equal to the supply voltage. The MAX4395ESD/V+ has an ultra-low distortion of less than 0.09%, a temperature range between -40°C and +125°C, and a wide common-mode range from -5V to +5V. It operates at supply voltage which ranges from 2V to 12V and uses an input voltage of 0.5V to enable the device.Conclusion
