The power block controls the energy consumption of the system by measuring the input power and disconnecting the power from the power supply once the power consumption is too high. This prevents undesired local RF signals from entering the system and causing unwanted audio noise. The amplification block provides the necessary power amplification for the system, allowing high sound fidelity and minimal distortion.The MAX4397SCTM+T application is based upon unique technologies including high-fidelity low-distortion amplifier module, class-D power converter, high-efficiency digital power control, and integrated high-fidelity audio codec. The power block is a combination of digital and analog technologies, while the amplification block is based upon a fully-featured high-power amplifier module.The audio system consists of a pair of boards, a Digital Board and an Analog Board. The Digital Board includes the power block, digital audio converter (DAC), digital audio power control, DSP, FPGA, and SPI bus controller.
