The MAX6641AUB94+ is one of the most popular PMICs belonging to the Thermal Management category.The MAX6641AUB94+ is an so-called Automatic Temperature Control device. It uses pulse width modulated (PWM) control as primary approach to manage the temperature of a system. It contains an internal temperature sensor and two separate thermal cores, which can vary the temperature levels from 0 to +125 ̊C. It also has an on-board low-pass filter that helps maintain consistent temperature stability.The MAX6641AUB94+ can be used in various types of applications such as personal computers, cellular phones, media players and many other electronic devices. This PMIC can also be used in automotive applications and has a built-in monitoring system to detect overheating and to provide an early warning before system failure.When using the MAX6641AUB94+, the user will have to select the appropriate temperature range for their application.
