Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) is a device used to control the operating voltage, current and frequency of different electronic components in a system. PMIC can be broadly divided into two categories: Power Management and Thermal Management.
Thermal Management is used to monitor, control and cool the temperature of devices in order to maintain an optimal working environment.
