It also includes a 32kHz ultra-low power oscillator to extend battery life in light-load conditions. The MAX6779LTA+ supports Input Cell Balancing (ICB) to ensure a balanced charge current across the battery stack, which ensures maximum capacity utilization. Finally, the PMIC can automatically enter into a low-power sleep mode when the battery is completely charged, further extending the lifetime of the Li-Ion battery.
