Introduction

MAX8553EEE+T is an adjustable low RDS(ON) 30 A current-mode synchronous step-down voltage regulator. It is a chip-scale version of MAX8553ET+, with minimal external components and optimized design. It is powered with a built-in boost switch and integrated power MOSFET, which allows it to provide a voltage output of 0.8V with applications in computer peripherals, mobile devices and other high power-level designs.

Working Principle

The MAX8553EEE+T adopts a current-mode control system. It has an adjustable voltage-feedback loop, which is used to regulate the output voltage to the predetermined value.
