MAX8729EEI+ is a powerful 5V, 3.2A, 76mΩ synchronous rectifier buck controller that provides exceptional efficiency and small size, allowing the designer to deliver the highest performance in a small form factor. The device supports an adapter form factor with a wide-range AC input voltage, which eliminates the need for a PFC stage in high power adapters. The device delivers > 3.2A continuous output with excellent transient response at a junction temperature of 90°C.
Most importantly, MAX8729EEI+ is a PMIC (Power Management IC), which is a device that efficiently manages power on a system level.
