The MAX876BESA+ is an ultra-small, low-dropout (LDO) regulator and LDO supervisor that embeds an advanced error amplifier in a small 4 mm x 4 mm laser-trimmed Thin Quad Flat No Lead (TQFN) package.The MAX876BESA+ meets the low-dropout voltage and the fast transient performance required of power supplies in today\'s applications. It offers a wide input voltage range (2.2 V to 5.5V), which makes it suitable for a variety of power management configurations. The MAX876BESA+\'s output voltage can be adjusted from 1.238V to 26V, depending on the configuration.The MAX876BESA+ features an internal 1A low-resistance P-channel MOSFET to enable low quiescent current, output noise, and fast transient response. The device also features protection features such as thermal shutdown, over-current protection, and foldback current limiting. The device also features a push-pull or open-drain output power good signal, a power-OK delay circuit, and an on-board voltage reference.
